Manage your health onlineRequest an urgent appointment
The Medical Emergency Clinic operates from 8.00 AM to noon Monday to Friday for registered patients. If you have an urgent problem or concern that needs to be addressed on the day, please call the surgery on 020 7387 5798 between 08:00AM and 9:30AM to make a request. Our trained receptionists will ask you some questions to help the duty Dr prioritise your needs.
Our duty doctor will assess your request and may need to call you back if they need more information. The doctor will attempt to call you twice, so please be available when they call. If the doctor needs to see you, they will offer you a specific time to come in that same morning, please ensure that you are available to come to the practice on the day that you call.
If you do not have a working UK number, come in person at 09:00AM and wait until the triage decision.
These consultations are not suitable for long-term, complex, or multiple problems as the doctors will only focus on your new urgent problem.
Booking a routine appointment
We have heard your feedback regarding our appointment booking system. As we constantly strive to improve the care we deliver to our patients, we will be trialling a new system for booking routine GP appointments.
This pilot scheme will be effective from Monday 20/07/2026 until Monday 31/08/2026.
IMPORTANT: Requests for urgent same morning GP appointments must still be made by calling the duty line before 09:30AM
All requests for a routine GP appointment at our site will be triaged following these steps:
- An online request is made using the following link https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/E87066
Please give enough details to ensure that you get a satisfactory triage outcome
- If you need assistance to create an online request, please call reception or come to reception and our trained receptionists will help you create the request
- All requests will be triaged and the outcome will be communicated to you by email, SMS, telephone or in person if you prefer coming. If you haven’t provided enough details, you will be contacted for more information
Appointments with extended hours GP (evenings and week-ends) at our partner surgeries or with the nurse, the HCA, the pharmacist or the physiotherapist can still be made by phone.
However, you can also use the online request form link https://accurx.nhs.uk/patient-initiated/E87066
We hope that this change will allow your health queries being resolved in an easier and a more timely manner.
We will review the new system at the end of August 2026
