Your request will be processed by a central admin team who work across Central London practices to ensure all requests are dealt with appropriately as soon as possible. If you prefer not to share your data in this way, you can continue to call the practice during normal working hours.

The NHS App

At home or on the move, with the new NHS App you can conveniently order repeat prescriptions, view your GP medical records, set organ donation preferences, and check symptoms.

The app has been developed by the NHS and has been designed to help people get more information about their health and care – and more control of how they use NHS services. New functions and services will also be added in the coming months. Click the image below for more information.

If you experience any problems with the app, please visit the following

Have Your Say

Welcome To The Practice

We are still open and here for you. We are continuing to provide services as we have been doing throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please do not call your GP surgery about vaccines or boosters. You will be contacted when due to receive your vaccine. You can find more information about where to get your vaccine and booster at www.northcentrallondonccg.nhs.uk/my-health/covid-19/walk-in-vaccination-clinics, or you can call 119.

If you would like advice on minor illnesses, you can visit your local pharmacy which can offer clinical advice and over-the-counter medicines, or go online to seek NHS advice at www.nhs.uk.

About us

The Fitzrovia Medical Centre is a GP Practice located in a Grade II listed building in a beautiful Georgian Square. This is a relatively new site, having moved here from very cramped premises in the next door building in 1993. There has been a medical practice in the square since at least the 1960’s.

Our current core activity is providing General Medical Services under the NHS GMS contract. We currently have in the region of 7500 patients registered here. There are two GP Principal Partners, four salaried GPs, one practice nurse and one healthcare assistant. We also have a Bengali speaking part time health advisor/link worker and a team of enthusiastic receptionists trained in supporting and signposting you. Our in-house pharmacist can arrange medication reviews and help with your requests.

Attached health care professionals not directly employed include an on-site physiotherapist, a health visitor, counsellors and mental health therapists, a smoking cessation counsellor and several district nursing teams.

We take pride in a long standing commitment to holistic person centred care. For some years now we have been providing 15 minute consultations with doctors and nurses in order to give patients the time they need and to allow for the delivery of health promotion etc. All members of the Surgery Primary Care Team are dedicated to a quality policy to achieve health services which meet patient's requirements

The doctors and staff at the Fitzrovia Medical Centre in Fitzroy Square  in London are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. Our catchment area covers large parts of Westminster and Camden and our list is always open. Please ask at reception if you would like to join our practice.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a large selection of health-related information on your website.

Please have a look around and do send us some feedback if you like.
